Spiritual Direction, sometimes reserred to as spiritual guidance or spiritual friendship, is an on-going relationship in which one person (the directee) desirous of being attentive to his or her spiritual life, meets with another person (the director) on a regular basis, speciaically for the purpose of becoming more attuned to God's presence in order to respond more fully to that Presence in all of life. There is usually a fee attached to his ministry which can be discussed with the director. If you are interested in exploring spiritual direction, please email a director to set up an initial meeting time at Stella Maris.

Sacred Dance for Peace and Healing

Join us for a community dance for peace and healing following the ancient traditions. We will be dancing and singing in a circle and there will be drumming to support our work. This is open to novices and those experienced in spirit filled ceremony. We welcome drummers, singers and all people of good will. A special invitation is extended to veterans and their families. Young and not so young are welcome.

Come, bring family and friends and spend some time in this sacred space. Many people who come to Stella Maris tell us they experience a unique sense of the presence of the Holy here. Enjoy our natural environment, visit our organic garden, meditate in our Chapel with its magnificent oceanscape, and be with our sister "Atlantic". You will be welcomed warmly by our desire to share this space with you.

An Evening By the Sea: A Fundraiser for Stella Marie

Save the date to spend time with ocean breezes, our sister "Atlantic", some fine music, good food, and great people. And....it's all for a good cause. Details will follow.

*All day programs begin with 9:30 registration and coffee and danish. The programs begin promptly at 10:00. Dinner is served at noontime.
